About Meligyris Apiary

Continuing his family's beekeeping tradition since 1920, Manolis Stefanakis founded the "Meligyris" apiary, which produces rare types of honey from the wild herbs of Cretan land.

Manolis, with his scientific background, having graduated from the Agricultural University of Athens, and his long-standing involvement in the family business, combined the microclimate of different geographical areas (according to altitude, relative humidity, and soil composition) with the organoleptic and biochemical properties of the honey produced.
