About Evergetikon

Evergetikon is a brand of Greek natural cosmetics from Crete, handcrafted by the family-run workshop of Yiannis and Anna Skrafnakis. The brand was born from a simple belief: real skincare should come from the earth, not from a laboratory. The name itself means beneficent in Greek.

The story begins in the shade of centuries-old olive trees, on hills scented with oregano, sage and thyme. Yiannis grew up surrounded by his grandmother's remedies — a drop of olive oil and beeswax for a cut, an inhalation of rosemary and honey for a cold. He later worked at the Heraklion hospital in medical technology and sterilization, while his wife Anna is a chemist by training. One spring evening, the two of them sat down at the kitchen table of their old family home, surrounded by jars of lavender, sage, beeswax and raw olive oil — and Evergetikon was born. The workshop is now based in the village of Skalani, near the palace of Knossos.

The base of every product is Cretan extra virgin olive oil of edible-pure grade — rich in antioxidants, vitamin E, polyphenols, squalene and unsaturated fatty acids. It is paired with top-quality beeswax, aloe vera, Cretan dittany, labdanum, lavender, rose and extracts of wild Mediterranean herbs. Free from parabens, silicones, propylene glycol, mineral oils, phthalates, triclosan and synthetic preservatives.

Evergetikon face care

The Evergetikon face care line is a complete skincare routine inspired by the Minoan tradition of Crete — from cleansing, through toning with rose hydrosol, to creams, masks, scrubs and precious face oils. The formulas feature ingredients that the people of Crete have used for centuries: olive oil, dittany (diktamo), labdanum from the Cretan rockrose, Damask rose, sea buckthorn and aloe vera. The cosmetics are 100% natural and tailored to every skin type — from sensitive and dry to oily and acne-prone.

Rose hydrosol for face and décolleté, 80 ml

An organic distillate from Damask rose flowers — refreshes, revitalises and tones the skin of the face, neck and décolleté. Antiseptic and antibacterial; cleanses pores from impurities and excess sebum, smoothes fine lines, balances the skin's pH and supports cell regeneration. For dry skin it can act as a light moisturiser. Spray onto closed eyes and décolleté while inhaling the fragrance of Damask rose.

Moisturising and nourishing face cream with aloe vera, 50 ml

A traditional moisturising and nourishing face cream with aloe vera. Maintains the skin's moisture balance, smoothes fine lines and nourishes deeply. Aloe penetrates the skin, delivering hydration directly into the tissue, supporting collagen production and regeneration. A rich blend of plant oils (olive, almond, jojoba, evening primrose, argan) provides strong antioxidant protection. Apply a small amount to the face and neck.

Face cream for all skin types, 40 ml

A universal cream for every skin type. Naturally moisturises, regenerates, adds radiance, tones and improves elasticity. Myrtle extract is a strong antioxidant that reduces existing wrinkles and prevents new ones from forming. Suitable for all ages — from young to mature skin. Gently apply a small amount to slightly damp skin of the face and neck.

Deep-cleansing face mask with zeolite, 70 g

A detoxifying mask with natural zeolite — a volcanic mineral that binds and absorbs free radicals, toxins and impurities from deep within the skin. After rinsing, the skin is clean, fresh and nourished. Mix 2 teaspoons of zeolite with 2 teaspoons of water or Evergetikon rose hydrosol into a smooth paste. Apply to the face for 10 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with water.

Ingredients: Zeolite Clinoptilolite Powder, Citrus Medica Limonum (Lemon) Peel Oil, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Oil, Citrus Aurantium Bergamia (Bergamot) Fruit Oil, Citrus Reticulata, Lavender Flower.

Green clay face mask — combination and oily skin, 90 g

A detoxifying mask with French green clay, known for its strong regenerative power. Ideal for cleansing, toning and firming the skin. Helps eliminate toxins, pollutants and dead skin cells. Helpful in reducing inflammation in acne. Mix 2 teaspoons of clay with 2 teaspoons of water or Evergetikon rose hydrosol into a smooth paste. Apply a thin layer to the face, avoiding the eye area, leave for 10 minutes, then rinse thoroughly.

Ingredients: French Green Clay, Cistus Ladaniferus, Styrax Benzoin, Aniba Rosaeodora (Rosewood) Wood Oil.

Pink clay face mask — sensitive and dry skin, 90 g

A gentle pink clay mask designed for sensitive skin. Stimulates microcirculation, gently exfoliates and cleanses, adds radiance to tired complexions. Does not strip the skin of its natural oils, making it also suitable for dry skin. Mix 2 teaspoons of clay with 2 teaspoons of water or Evergetikon rose hydrosol, apply a thin layer for 10 minutes and rinse with water.

Ingredients: Illite (Pink Clay), Aniba Rosaeodora (Rosewood) Wood Oil, Rosa Damascena Flower Extract (Rose Concrete), Pelargonium Graveolens Oil (Geranium Oil), Cymbopogon Martini Oil.

Face scrub with apricot and orange, 50 ml

Gentle exfoliation that removes dead skin cells. Apricot stones, plant oils (monoi, olive, almond) and orange essential oil moisturise, protect with antioxidants and stimulate circulation. Reduces fine lines, smoothes and hydrates the complexion. Apply to damp skin of the face, neck and décolleté in circular movements, rinse with lukewarm water and pat dry with a soft towel. Use once or twice a week after cleansing.

Gently removes impurities, leaving the face fresh and clean while maintaining a healthy skin balance. Aloe moisturises and nourishes. Sea buckthorn is one of the highest natural sources of vitamin E, acts as a mild calming agent and helps limit the spread of bacteria — supporting the fight against acne and preventing its recurrence.

Face and body care with Minoan labdanum. The ancient resin from the Cretan rockrose (Cistus ladaniferus) is famous for its regenerative, anti-wrinkle, soothing, antiseptic and antibacterial properties. Combined with Cretan olive oil and vitamin E, it provides strong nourishing and antioxidant action. The skin remains soft and silky. Apply directly to clean face and body.

A face, neck and décolleté cream with plant oils and butters that protect against sunlight and ageing while providing soothing, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. Olive oil with high antioxidant activity, combined with carrot, wheat germ and raspberry oils, offers natural protection against UV radiation. Apply a sufficient amount and reapply often — especially after swimming, sweating or towel-drying. Avoid prolonged sun exposure even when using protection.
