About Evergetikon

Evergetikon is a brand of Greek natural cosmetics from Crete, handcrafted by the family-run workshop of Yiannis and Anna Skrafnakis. The brand was born from a simple belief: real skincare should come from the earth, not from a laboratory. The name itself means beneficent in Greek.

The story begins in the shade of centuries-old olive trees, on hills scented with oregano, sage and thyme. Yiannis grew up surrounded by his grandmother's remedies — a drop of olive oil and beeswax for a cut, an inhalation of rosemary and honey for a cold. He later worked at the Heraklion hospital in medical technology and sterilization, while his wife Anna is a chemist by training. One spring evening, the two of them sat down at the kitchen table of their old family home, surrounded by jars of lavender, sage, beeswax and raw olive oil — and Evergetikon was born. The workshop is now based in the village of Skalani, near the palace of Knossos.

The base of every product is Cretan extra virgin olive oil of edible-pure grade — rich in antioxidants, vitamin E, polyphenols, squalene and unsaturated fatty acids. It is paired with top-quality beeswax, aloe vera, Cretan dittany, labdanum, lavender, rose and extracts of wild Mediterranean herbs. Free from parabens, silicones, propylene glycol, mineral oils, phthalates, triclosan and synthetic preservatives.

Evergetikon soaps — cold-processed in Crete

Each Evergetikon soap bar is made using the cold-process method, meaning that the olive oil and other oils are not heated during production and retain the full power of their valuable properties. The shared base of all variants includes: Cretan extra virgin olive oil, coconut oil, sweet almond oil, calendula flower extract and aloe vera juice. The soaps are suitable for face, body and hands, for the whole family — including sensitive and dry skin. The quality of every batch is certified by the Greek State General Laboratory. Weight: 120–140 g (each bar is hand-cut, so the weight may vary slightly).

Lavender soap

A soothing blend with lavender essential oil. Relaxes, calms irritation, and is recommended before sleep and for skin prone to allergic reactions.

Ingredients: Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Aqua, Sodium Hydroxide, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil, Calendula Officinalis Flowers Extract, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Oil.

Chamomile soap

With chamomile flower extract. Mild and soothing, suitable for sensitive, atopic and children's skin.

Ingredients: Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Aqua, Sodium Hydroxide, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil, Calendula Officinalis Flowers Extract, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract.

Lemon soap

With lemon essential oil. Refreshes, brightens and tones the skin. Perfect for the morning routine and for combination skin.

Ingredients: Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Aqua, Sodium Hydroxide, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil, Calendula Officinalis Flowers Extract, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Citrus Medica Limonum (Lemon) Peel Oil.

Chocolate soap

With cocoa butter and a hint of chocolate. Nourishing and enveloping, ideal for dry skin in need of an extra dose of lipids.

Honeysuckle and chamomile soap

The sweet, floral scent of honeysuckle paired with soothing chamomile. Mild and relaxing, recommended for daily washing.

Almond soap

With sweet almond oil and a note of bitter almond. Rich, creamy lather that softens and smoothes the skin — particularly appreciated by mature skin.

Green clay soap

With green clay, which gently cleanses pores and absorbs excess sebum and toxins. Recommended for oily and combination skin.

Pink clay soap

With pink clay — gently exfoliates, stimulates microcirculation and refreshes the complexion. Ideal for sensitive skin in need of gentle stimulation.

Volcanic ash exfoliating soap

A natural exfoliator with volcanic ash particles (rhassoul / volcanic clay). Removes dead skin cells, tightens pores and restores the skin's radiance. Recommended for problematic skin.

With sweet orange essential oil. Energising, uplifting, brings radiance to the skin — a favourite for chilly mornings.

“Olive Leaf” soap with lavender

A premium edition with olive leaf extract (a strong antioxidant) and lavender essential oil. Strengthens, soothes, acts as a mild antiseptic and anti-inflammatory. Ideal for mature and sensitive skin.

Bitter orange blossom (neroli) soap

With precious neroli essential oil from bitter orange blossoms. A subtle, floral fragrance with relaxing and skin-regenerating properties.

Jasmine soap with poppy seeds (anti-cellulite)

An anti-cellulite soap with jasmine essential oil and poppy seeds that gently exfoliate. Stimulates microcirculation, firms and smoothes the skin and supports the fight against cellulite. Massage into problem areas for 2–3 minutes, then rinse with warm water.

With natural zeolite — a volcanic mineral that binds and neutralises toxins and free radicals. Detoxifying, recommended for polluted, problematic skin and skin exposed to smog. Suitable for face, hair and body.

Mini soaps (95–110 g)

Lavender and orange variants are also available in a smaller travel size — ideal for your toiletry bag, for travel, or to try out a new scent. Same composition as the 120–140 g version.
