Description
In ancient times, lemon balm was dedicated to Artemis, the goddess of hunting, animals, forests, mountains and vegetation. It was noticed that lemon balm, with its tonic and calming properties, helped hunters to concentrate, making their shots more accurate.
Melissa is a honey plant, which is where its name comes from. From the Greek Melissa – bee / Meli – honey.
In the Middle Ages, it was considered an elixir of youth.
Application:
