Kali Extra Virgin Olive Oil Diana PGI Tuscany

KALI offers certified organic Toscano PGI Extra Virgin Olive Oil, made from the Diana variety. The "Diana" olive variety was identified in the 1960s by Attilio Sonnoli among fruiting plants grown from selected cuttings as part of an improvement program initiated in the 1950s. The parent plant was monitored for several years, and its clones showed promising traits in terms of productivity, adaptability, and oil quality. This plant is characterized by a spherical crown with medium-high density and early ripening, as well as good resistance to cold. Diana olive oil is known for its light fruitiness, delicate bitterness, and spiciness. It is perfect for those who enjoy mild olive oils.

The oil has an acidity level below 0.22%, with olives hand-picked within a sustainable and organic farming cycle. They are cold-pressed on our farm using the MORI TEM Cultivar line within three hours of harvest. The high concentration of polyphenols meets the requirements of EU regulation 432/2012, ensuring that the polyphenols in olive oil contribute to the protection of blood lipids from oxidative stress. The beneficial effects are achieved with a daily intake of 20g of olive oil.
