KALI offers certified organic Toscano PGI Extra Virgin Olive Oil with high polyphenol content, made from the Maurino variety. Maurino is a Tuscan PGI variety originating from the Lucca region. It quickly spread throughout Italy due to its excellent resistance to strong winds and low temperatures. It is characterized by its lush and dense canopy, making it wind-resistant and commonly used as a pollinator due to its genetic traits. Maurino olive oil has a medium-intense level of fruitiness, bitterness, and spiciness. It features dominant Mediterranean aromas complemented by light notes of artichoke, fresh almonds, and tomatoes. Perfect for fish dishes and enhancing the flavor of salads and grilled vegetables.

The olive oil boasts an acidity level below 0.22%, ensuring a smooth and delicate taste. The olives are hand-picked within a sustainable and organic farming cycle, maintaining the highest standards of environmental responsibility. They are cold-pressed on our farm using the advanced MORI TEM Cultivar line within three hours of harvest, preserving the oil's fresh aroma and nutritional benefits.

High polyphenol content meets EU regulation 432/2012 requirements, ensuring that the polyphenols in olive oil help protect blood lipids from oxidative stress.
