POTEUS – an organic farm in northern Greece

POTEUS is a family-run, certified organic farm in the Serres region of Greek Macedonia, specialising in the production of organic extra virgin olive oil, honey and natural skincare products inspired by traditional Mediterranean skincare practices.

The entire farm operates in accordance with the principles of certified organic farming – from its own olive groves and apiaries right through to the production and packaging of finished products. The producer uses only natural raw materials sourced from its own crops and the local ecosystem of the Serres region.

POTEUS Organic St. John's Wort Oil is a natural St. John's Wort oil made from fresh St. John's Wort flowers and organic cold-pressed extra virgin olive oil. The product is inspired by traditional Mediterranean recipes that have been used for generations in daily skincare and massage.

The oil has a characteristic herbal aroma and an intense, naturally reddish colour, which is produced during the maceration of fresh St. John’s Wort flowers in extra virgin olive oil. Thanks to its natural formula, it is ideal as a skincare oil and a massage base oil.

Natural formula

The product is made from a combination of fresh St. John’s wort flowers (Hypericum perforatum) and organic extra virgin olive oil sourced from the producer’s own groves. The formula is based exclusively on ingredients of natural origin, with no added preservatives or artificial substances.

Mediterranean tradition

St. John’s Wort macerated in olive oil is one of the oldest elements of traditional Greek skincare. It has been used for generations as a natural oil for the skin and for massage, prized for its distinctive herbal profile and deep, ruby colour.

Directions for use

External use:
Apply a small amount of the product to the skin and massage in gently 2–4 times a day as required.

For massage:
It can be used as a natural oil for a relaxing and nourishing skin massage.

For external use only. After application, it is recommended to avoid direct exposure of the skin to the sun. Do not use during pregnancy.
