Instructions for use and maintenance

Do not use concentrated acids or chromic acid mixtures. The glasses should be stored in a closed cabinet, away from odours and contaminants. Before tasting, each glass should be checked by briefly smelling it.
In professional tests, the oil and glass must be properly coded – the codes are known only to the person conducting the panel.
Tasting conditions
The standard tasting temperature is 28 ± 2°C. Laboratories use heating devices with an aluminium block. At home, the temperature can be easily achieved by rubbing the bottom of the glass with your hand, which allows the oil to be heated safely and evenly.
