PROPERTIES
INTERNAL USE: Nervous system sedative, antispasmodic, antiseptic, bactericide, antirheumatic, antihypertensive, anti-migraine, diuretic, etc.
EXTERNAL USE: Analgesic, calming, antiseptic, healing, deodorant and insect repellent.
INDICATIONS
INTERNAL USE: Irritability, anxiety, depression, stress, insomnia. Spasms of the digestive and respiratory systems. General infections (respiratory tract, urinary tract, etc.). Vaginitis, leucorrhoea. Rheumatism. Migraines. Hypertension
EXTERNAL USE: Rheumatic and muscular pain, back pain, hair loss, burns, wounds, psoriasis, insect bites, eczema, acne, chapped hands, preventing wrinkles and stretch marks in the skin, body odor.
DOSAGE AND INSTRUCTIONS
INTERNAL USE: : 2-5 drops, 2-3 times a day, in a teaspoon of honey, a brown sugar cube or an infusion, or in alcoholic solution.
EXTERNAL USE: Dissolving the essence in alcohol or olive oil and use in friction for rheumatism. It can also be used as a compress for eczema and wounds (add 5 to 10 drops of essential oil in 120-150 mL of water). In the form of baths as a relaxant.
COUNTERINDICATIONS
Not recommended in case of allergy or hypersensitivity to essential oil or to any of its components.
Not recommended during pregnancy, lactation, or in children under six years, or in case of gastritis, peptic ulcer and hematuria, and in patients with hepatic diseases, or in patients with epilepsy or other neurological disorders.
REMARKS
Supplied in high doses is toxic. The first symptoms to appear are central nervous system excitation with possible hallucinations to move on to a depressive phase in which dominate its narcotic effects.
