Kali Extra Virgin Cipressino PGI Tuscany Olive Oil

KALI offers certified organic Toscano PGI Extra Virgin Olive Oil with high polyphenol content, sourced from the Cipressino variety. The Cipressino variety is primarily cultivated in Apulia and Sardinia. Initially, it was used as a shelter tree to protect other crops. After the 1960s, it spread quickly from its original location, known as Pietrafitta di Palagiano, giving rise to the name "Pietrafitta olive." From Apulia, this olive tree was transferred to Sardinia, where it began to be intensively planted for olive oil production. Cipressino olive oil is characterized by a medium level of fruitiness, bitterness, and pungency, with dominant notes of fresh almonds. It is perfect for salads and caprese.

Acidity level below 0.22%, Hand-harvested olives within a sustainable and organic farming cycle. Cold-pressed at our farm using the MORI TEM Cultivar line within three hours of harvesting. High polyphenol concentration meeting the EU regulation 432/2012 requirements. This ensures that the polyphenols in olive oil contribute to the protection of blood lipids from oxidative stress. The beneficial effect is achieved with a daily intake of 20g of olive oil.
