Production and origin

Kavalaria Estate is a high-quality organic extra virgin olive oil from Crete, produced in traditional olive groves situated on the slopes of the Psiloritis massif, in the Korfes region (Heraklion). It is made from the Koroneiki variety, considered one of the best in the world in terms of quality and sensory profile.

The olives are grown organically, with respect for the natural environment and the local terroir, which has a key influence on the character and quality of the oil.

Harvest and production

The olives are harvested at an early stage of ripeness, which results in an oil with a fresh, intense aroma and a high content of natural antioxidants. Pressing is carried out mechanically at a controlled low temperature, ensuring that the full nutritional and flavour values are preserved.

The oil meets the requirements of the European health claim EU 432/2012, confirming the presence of polyphenols that help protect the body against oxidative stress.
